How this happened...?
Our CEO, Ryan Mullins, left his job as Director of Future Trends at Adidas on August 31, 2019. About a month later later, on October 1, he moved full-time into building AgletNFT, a smartphone app he describes as Pokรฉmon Go, but for sneakers.
He recruited a small but dedicated team to bring Aglet to sneakerheads the world over, and on 12th April, 2020, AgletNFT was launched to the world.
Pokรฉmon Go for sneakers sounds dope - how does it work?
The game turns your physical steps into Aglet app, our in-game currency, which you can then use to buy and collect virtual sneakers from brands like Adidas, New Balance, ASICS, Vans and Yeezy (to name a few).
You navigate around your local area (or anywhere you happen to be) using a map which allows you to explore the real physical world around you accessing Treasure Stashes comprising of Normal Aglet, AGT, Virtual Sneakers and even real ones.
